GENEVA PALEXPO has been the home of INDEX for the past 9 editions, and has hosted the event in Geneva since 1984. Its easy accessibility from cities around the world makes it a favourite destination for this three-yearly event.
Its 102,000 m2 of modular and flexible exhibition space is situated at the heart of the major communication arteries leading to Geneva and within ten minutes' reach of the town centre and its 180 Swiss quality hotels. This affordable exhibition and conference destination boasts 1'500 hotel rooms within 1 km of the complex across all categories, and 7,500 rooms within a 5 km radius.
The new Congress Centre, which reopened in March 2009 following a major refurbishment, offers excellent conference facilities to all participants. 20 meeting rooms of various sizes, can accommodate from 20 to 2,500 delegates each in comfort and style.
With the city's international airport conveniently located next door to the exhibition centre, most European capitals are just a short flight away via more than 100 direct flights each week. The journey time from the airport to the exhibition centre is the shortest in Europe, a mere 10-15 minutes on foot, and five minutes by bus or taxi. An underground link to the airport railway station, which is also only ten minutes’ walk from the exhibition centre, also means GENEVA PALEXPO is easily accessible by rail.
GENEVA PALEXPO boasts its own direct access to Europe's north-south motorway system, has ample on-site parking facilities (4,500 places) and is served by frequent public transport links, making access to the city centre extremely simple and a short bus or taxi ride away.
